Systems Announces Letter of Intent to Acquire Software Company, WhiteCanyon,
Inc. WhiteCanyon is expected to join a growing contingent of profitable privately-held companies that GK has recently acquired or for which it has announced acquisition-related LOIs. This summer, GK announced that it had acquired Stellar Software Network and Ascendant TSG. Last month, three additional companies signed LOIs to be acquired by GK. These include Chung King Studios, The Warehouse Recording Studios and CoraZong Records. GK is currently engaged in additional acquisition-related activities that lead to further announcements. In the consumer market, WhiteCanyon's products can be found in leading retailers Best Buy, CompUSA, Fry's, Amazon.com, and MicroCenter. Additionally, WhiteCanyon has implemented a site licensing program targeted at businesses, corporations, and government suppliers and entities with sizable implementation needs. CEO Steve Elderkin is an expert on forensic software and was the chief forensic scientist for AccessData Corp (a computer forensic software company.) Over the past six years, he has worked with the Secret Service, CIA, FBI, and U.S. Customs developing security-related technologies.
