Entertainment Announces Letter of Intent to Acquire GetData Pty, LTD.
Gary Kimmons, CEO of MPWE stated GetData adds strength to our profitable software development and marketing components, joining recent acquisitions WhiteCanyon, Inc. and Channel Access, Inc. The data recovery technologies in the GetData suite of products were developed by former forensic police officers John Hunter and Graham Henley and Dr. Brett Hunter, a physicist. The Company recently won an Australian Consensus Award for the innovation, performance and market potential of its lead product Recover My Files data recovery software. The win comes as the software, already available in six European markets and Japan, becomes available in the US retail market.
